Child labor laws are insane in Hollywood. There are tons of rules you have to follow if you want to have a kid in your film. You have to have a tutor on set, you can’t work kids as long as the adult actors, and you can’t hire grips that are convicted sex offenders if there is a kid on set (nearly impossible).
